Das sehr fruchtbare Weibchen bringt jedes Jahr ein Kalb zur Welt und das Kalben ist nat\u00fcrlich.<\/p>\n

Aufgrund der leichten Geburt sind die Limousin-K\u00e4lber sehr kr\u00e4ftig und saugen innerhalb einer Stunde nach dem Kalben.<\/p>\n

Im Fr\u00fchjahr begleiten sie ihre Mutter auf die Weide, wo sie in der Regel 6 bis 10 Monate lang s\u00e4ugen. <\/p>\n

Die Nutzung von Gr\u00fcnland stellt eine gesunde und traditionelle Ern\u00e4hrung f\u00fcr die Tiere dar und tr\u00e4gt auch zur Erhaltung des l\u00e4ndlichen Raums und der Umwelt bei. In Wallonien gibt es ca. 750.000 ha landwirtschaftlich genutzte Fl\u00e4che, wovon 50% Wiesen sind. <\/p>\n

Limousin-Rind: das Fleisch schlechthin<\/p>\n

Das Fleisch aus der Limousine hat mehr als einen Trumpf in der Hand, um den Verbraucher und den Koch zu verf\u00fchren. Mit seiner bemerkenswerten Zartheit, seiner ber\u00fchmten Feinheit und seiner tiefroten Farbe ist es eines der schmackhaftesten Fleischsorten. Die Feinheit seines „Fleischgewebes“ wird von denjenigen, die es zubereiten, und denjenigen, die es genie\u00dfen, gleicherma\u00dfen anerkannt. <\/p>\n

Die Rustikalit\u00e4t der Rasse und die handwerkliche Zucht erkl\u00e4ren sicherlich den Geschmack des Limousin-Fleisches.<\/p>\n

Der Hauptvorteil dieses Fleisches liegt in der Vielfalt der angebotenen Endprodukte: vom Kalb bis zum Ochsen, vom Fresser bis zum Jungbullen, von der F\u00e4rse bis zum schweren weiblichen Tier und von der ausgewachsenen Kuh.<\/p>\n

Das Limousin-Rind mit seinem kr\u00e4ftigen roten Fleisch, das fein und schmelzend ist, mit Marmor, ohne jemals fett zu sein, ist ein Prestigeprodukt der Gastronomie. <\/p>\n

Die Limousine passt sich sehr leicht an die Anforderungen von Bio- und Labelprodukten an. Sie ist daher in Bio- und Label-Fleischketten sowie in einigen Metzgereien zu finden. <\/p>\n

Das Ziel des Herdbuches ist es, die Reinheit der Rasse zu erhalten und durch eine intelligente und kontinuierliche Auswahl zu ihrer Verbesserung beizutragen.<\/p>\n

Der Zweck des Vereins besteht au\u00dferdem darin, die Verbreitung der Limousin-Rasse und den Verkauf von Zuchttieren in Belgien und im Ausland zu unterst\u00fctzen.<\/p>\n
